I am moved to see how much enthusiasm the mod paste got last thread. Lots of really great mods all around.
Highlights:
-Super in depth Serana romance for Skyrim, better than anything in the main game. Other romancable companions too

This game was brought up during the Steam Next Fest for having a female protagonist group and some kind of gifting/bond mechanic with th NPCs in the game that sort of looks romantic. Downsides were screenshots of something that looked like het interactions too.

It's subjective of course, but I think BG1/2 (these are treated as one big story) have the best story out of the ones you mentioned. As far as romance mods go, the BGs also have the best selection. Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights neither featured romances naturally and while some fans did do the work, they don't feel as natural.

All of these games also got massive content expansion mods, but BG2 recently just got a story add-on level mod called Throne of the Mad God, which is easily something you could have seen companies release as paid expansions.
Not that BG2 needed any more expansions, it's massive as fuck and has an expansion that many consider to be an entire third game in content size.

Fortune's Weave is the most het-oriented entry in the Fire Emblem series. 99% of the female cast are either pining for a man, can only be paired with a man, or have already had a relationship with a man (in some cases, had children as well). Unless you are the dumbest gooner in the universe and don't have access to free porn somehow, sex scenes are never a reason to play a game. Porn games usually try to make the game part go away so you can get to the porn. Games that are just good games with porn scenes in them make the porn an afterthought and you forget about them inbetween your gameplay focus.

Night Slave has one h-scene after every mission, which usually is combined with one story scene. But the combat is actually challenging abd requires you to focus.

Gameplay wise it is a really decent clone of classic mecha side-scrollers which many people are still desperate for. Nobody expected a porn game to have gameplay this sophisticated.

The plot is dark and a bit all over the place. The ending is quite tragic (and also a Gundam reference).

Objectively false, there's already been paired endings/romances popping up. There's just not many of them. And I don't really think anyone is counting RPG maker games as jrpgs. When people think about jrpgs they're thinking of FF, Tales, Trails, maybe even atelier (which is goggleable in some instances), YS, DQ, Persona (which I guess you could count 3P the protagonist of which hasn't been brought up in any mainstream media since aside from a gacha game to show just how much love Atlus has for the idea of yuri),

Nobody is thinking about some niche rpgmaker game, on top of that a massive chunk of the RPG maker games nowadays are just rape fetish games. The P3P part is especially telling because that's a mainstream JRPG with yuri and you try sooo hard to somehow twist it into not counting because of irrelevant outside factors that you would never push on a het only game.

JRPGs are a style. They don't even have to be from Japan anymore. And there are plenty of JRPGs made in RPGmaker or by Japanese indie devs to this day.
