if this was true, then surely the PS5 with no games after like 6 years has no excuse HALF a DECADE and you can count the 'sclusives on one hand. The switch 2 is only a couple of months old, and we already know of 3rd party exclusives, like duskbloods or age of calamity.

Not exactly rewards, but new scenarios tend to give you better stats gain than the previous once you learn their mechanics. They do give rewards when you reach a sufficient high score though.
