Silver used the power boost to his telekinesis to rip out all the metal virus cells from every single person on the planet, gathering them all in a massive sphere, and Sonic used Chaos Control to warp the sphere into the sun, ending the virus for good.Afterwards Dr. Starline kept samples of the virus and modified it to remove the metallic effect and the mental degradation along with the contagious ability, using it to improve Kit and Surge's durability for his plan to kill and replace Sonic and Tails.
