The games are not standalone, you are expected to play them in order so I can't comprehend what the genius publisher was thinking translating everything but the first game. And wasting money on one of the worst dubs ever made.Langrisser is similarly fucked. The first game (which is a remake actually) is stuck on Saturn in Japanese. The second game is only fan translated on SNES despite the fact that Saturn version is vastly superior. You can thank near and his SNES autism for that. Langrisser 1 and 2 on Saturn are remakes, yes these retards remade 2 twice for some reason. The third has no translation. The fourth game is translated on Playstation. The Saturn version is better but the difference is negligible. The fifth one has a fully translated script but nobody bothered to insert it into the game because nobody cares about this slop franchise.Growlanser games all have undub versions. You can play the untranslated games with auto translation on retroarch. You can even hook up your own local LLM translator but you unironically need a 5090 to run them. It's really fucking good, it's not like old machine translations. Or learn Japanese it's not hard. There are literal niggers in Japan who learned the retarded scribbles that these bug-eyed fucks call a language so why can't you? As for the games themselves: the gameplay ranges from okay to utter shit. The story ranges from kino to generic garbage depending on game and route. The art is godly in all of them. Save yourself the trouble and don't play these dogshit games, it's a waste of time. Most importantly, the artist behind the art for these games draws official unofficial lewds of the characters. You'll extract far more joy from looking that up than trying to play this diarrhea vomit. I have played H games that were better SRPGs than this.

Often you even kill multiple units at once with pierce strike or circle strike.Also, if you level up your skills as you play through the game you can eventually equip Skill Effect +3. This makes you way stronger in various ways, and you won't even need to heal because you'll have stronger life drain.
