I got bored before the game really took off. I usually give JRPGs more of a try because I know they all have slow starts, but I really couldn't be bothered with this one. I think maybe 2 hours before I called it quits.

I've been playing it a lot lately and I'd say its worth it. It does take a while to get going however so keep that in mind.

No, it sucks ass. It really would have benefited more from being a movie or two, or a short anime. The game part itself is laughably bad, I'd say that it's a good fit for young children but it's too much of a slog for that to be the case. It really stands out too because the world/setting itself is rather interesting and pleasant to look at, and the story's nice enough if not a little unsatisfying towards the end.
