wow what an evil game. The blessed city of new london has survived.
I want to go back to tropico
Wish the first game had more scenarios or DLC for new tech trees.
>>721053585>religion is the metaLame
>>721053585>You saved HUMANITY but ... You made them eat SOUP?!?!!!??? I FEAR... WE HAVE GONE TOO FAR...Shit game
>>721053585>>721053845>>721054720>>721054810*murders you for making me eat soup*
>>721054810I chose it, it actually really helps, the hope bar just says "devout" after a while and is no longer a problem, like switching to easy mode and you can basically become a dictator and crush resistance, but that's just being good, the game poo poos it in the recap at the end, was it worth it?
>>721054921you mean the sawdust soup? Yeah I avoided that option.
>>721054946*eats you for being a dirty criminal*
you survived.......but at what cost.....?
I thought it would go on longer it was actually pretty easy, everyone was starving and freezing but then the storm is over and you win.
the tension the game builds with the cold levels is memorable
>>721053585>game gives you a bunch of tech tree options >tells you you'll have to make tough decisions >scolds you if you actually use half of them
>>721055280I thought so too, but the DLC is pretty hard
>>721055616I think it's simply designed that way doesn't want to leave you unscathed.
>>721055670I got the dlc I'm going back to tropico though for the time being I failed the first mission in that which is mine for america although not too badly I started winning elections without cheating.I guess in frost 2 there's some kind of democracy.
>>721054810>the last autumn>unions are le badalso lame
I used soup and still got the good ending. You people fucked up somewhere along the way.
>>721055943from what I can tell you can just disperse crowds you actually have endless power, you can literally kill everyone on whim if you want.
>>721056163religion is le bad I think
>>721056174>this is a subtle hint to reality
Is this an actual strategy game? Or just a "figure out the correct build order by trial and error" real time puzzle?
>>721056684what's the difference?
>>721056684it's a trial and error game, even the strategy is sort of just smothered by "now it's so cold nothing works press fast forward everyone died but you won." It's not really fair, it's like too hard and too easy at the same time.
>>721056796In a strategy game you can deduce the next correct move with a fair amount of certainty based on current information.
>>721056973it's actually a terrible game, the cold negates any real progress you might make, it's literally dependent on the weather. You can research heaters for example but it only gives +1 heat level and the cold can be -5 and so it's a meaningless venture. It's just about surviving as a whole to reach the finish line, there's no real utopia to be had.anyway it was my first playthrough, you get robots and shit that don't care about cold obviously you can make a good town but it's unlikely, I don't even see how you can get enough coal to even run the generator, ultimately you just realize keep generator functioning and keep deaths/sickness at survival levels and that's all that matters.
>>721055173you survived.......but at what soup
>>721053585will never replay this but this is as close to a 10/10 as a game can get
>>721057017How is that different from a puzzle?
