>>

Maybe, but they both weren't that good
>>
Skullface was actually menacing in GZ. He's a joke in TPP.

Ground Zeroes was hard.

The Phantom Pain was... too hard.

Yes, the smaller area made for a far more interesting level and mission design.
>>
>>721414972
It had like 50 minutes of content

all I can say is that it was an extremely good advertisment for TPP. I legit ordered TPP within a week of playing GZ. wasn't disappointed by TPP either.

Absolutely. The last good MGS.

GZ was clearly a test to see if player would be receptive to the idea of video game seasons through installments without actually saying it. It's ALMOST kinda like the VR missions from PS1 era MGS, but not quite. The actual rescue mission for GZ with Paz, and Chico is pretty good, but you can tell if you've played it, and take a moment to process the entire area it's really easy to cheese. immediately head to chico, head to the heli pad area, but stick to the right, use the drainages, turn off the lights, and it's ez sailing. MGSV environments are so uninspired copy pasted that you have to get creative with your kills because there's nothing really there for interesting cause and effect, and that's also the allure of GZ even though it's short lived. I also like how in the cut-scene if you rescue all the POWs before Chico you get complete silence in the cutscene besides Chico freaking out instead of several soldiers shitting their pants over a possible rescue. All in all they're both good, but it's clear that there was supposed to be DLC as a last "installment/season" completely unrelated to the final chapter that was cut that would have given exposition to said DLC. this series of installments are cursed.

MGS delta fixed that now
>>
By far, mgs peaked here
>>
>>721414972
It was more like MGS2 and linear than MGSV's open world.
>>
>>721416727
so did TPP minus open world padding
>>
>>721414972
Yes, way better
