I remember spending in-game months (real-world hours) getting married, having two kids, and making sure they were properly geared up for the post-game, only to find out that it was easy enough that I could basically solo it, so I wasted a shitload of time doing stuff that didn't matter.Rune Factory 4 is still the only game in the series that got this specific thing right. Every other game has botched it. I just want to adventure with my family. Stop time gating when I can have a family or making the post-game embarrassingly easy. Holy fuck, this really isn't complicated.

I was told you can date every single love interest character up to the point of marriage where you need to pick one, is this true?
>>721708171Yes, but you shouldn't. Once you marry someone, everyone else resets to their max friendship from before you confessed to any of them. You also unlock a portal that brings you to alternate timelines (called Rewoven Fates) where your marriage gets reset as well so you can confess to someone else and go through their dating events and marriage. This means that if your goal is to date and marry everyone (each character has an achievement tied to marrying them), it's a waste of time to date everyone in the same timeline because they'll all be reset to friends. You should instead get everyone to max friendship, date and marry one person, change timeline and repeat with someone else.
