>>723010816I've had Kailh brown switches for 9 years I've never gotten double clicking. To be fair though, I've had worse problems with them since sometimes the whole keyboard starts acting up and only registers certain keypresses. This only happens when the backlight is on so I've had it off for a few years now.

>>723010816Whatever the fuck HyperX uses, its lasted like 4 years without a single click issue for me

>Left mouse button in my Corsair Scimitar starts double-clicking after four years>Take it apart and replace the switch>Tell myself, "I don't use the right or middle buttons that much, no need to replace them">Right button starts double-clicking about a year later>Take it apart again and replace the switch>Middle mouse starts double-clicking eventuallyJust replace all three the first time you take the mouse apart and it'll save you a lot of trouble later.
>>723010816I literally fixed mine by opening it and bending it back into shape by brute force.1 year later, still working perfectly.
you can't say a click is only half
>>723018816what pisses me off the most is that you have to get new gliders every time you want to unscrew the bolts. they are always covered by the gliders. i fucking hate these jews.
>>723020165You can reuse the pads, but you have to be careful not to scratch or crease them.
>>723020807The problem is the special glue they use, it always gets fucked up and if you use cyanoacrylate glue you won't be able to take them off next time.
>>723021863I had to replace the adhesive on one of mine. I just used double-sided tape. It's a fraction of a mm taller than the other three pads, but it doesn't seem to cause any issues.
>>723018116A click is a click, you can't say it's only a half.
>>723011243Mice need a fucking mechanical keyboard hotswap-socket moment already
>>723022104There are some mice out there with sockets for switches, but I don't know what they are. I think one of them is from Asus. Most manufacturers would rather you just buy a new mouse every 2-3 years when the mouse starts double-clicking instead of replacing a part that costs less than a dollar.
>>723022028>A click is a clickwrong
>>723022104ASUS has that for their Gladius mice. They also patented it like the greedy fuckers they are to keep other companies from using it.
>>723021995>double-sided tapeI'll try that next time, thanks.
I don't get it
>>723022364Google gives me some results for hot swappable PCB for Logitech mice on aliexpress.
>>723010816I don't think transistors are supposed to move
