I'm tired of all the pro war army recruitment propaganda in my vidya.
>>
why is the MP44 always the best WW2 vidya gun when it sucked in real life?
>>

I pirated BF V literally just for that and it was genuine kino.

>why is the MP44 always the best WW2 vidya gun when it sucked in real life?
Because vidoe games aren't real life.

If video games were real life then that weird as fuck Australian SMG would be the best gun as it's the only gun that didn't jam all the time.

What was so good about it?

This story should have been the whole campaign from the start to the end of the war, the other campaign stories were so bad. This and the tank crew from BF1 were the only good stories DICE has ever managed to write.

It literally just werked.

Upside down gravity assisted magazine on the top meant it didn't have the usual feeding issues when mag springs got old or damaged and reloading it was easy as you just slammed a mag in, it also meant it was easy to use and reload prone. Ejection port was straight down so any dirt that did get into the gun, or magazines fell straight out of the gun rather than getting trapped. The entire firing mechanism, bolt, everything critical is completely sealed away from dirt, mud, water etc and yet at the same time the whole thing comes apart extremely quickly and easily to clean and service. It was just super simple, insanely reliable and designed to address all the problems other guns at the time had.
