It's tracking ahead of both Thursday and Wednesday night by about 10k. It's currently noontime in China. Hitting 200k seems likely if that trend continues through Saturday. But something I haven't seen mentioned is the Steam hub followers. Since the game launched, it's grown almost 20k in two days. That's the fastest that metric has spiked. If that number is spiking after launch, that's usually a good sign.

What's the gameplay like?I'm really sick of Souls type games. The only one I still love is Nioh. Hell, I've even grown tired of FROMSoft games. Didn't bother with Nightreign. Tried replaying Elden Ring and it just feels too boring to me. Is that what this is? Is it just more parry shit?

For me I like Stellar Blade because it's MGR set in a post apolyptic cyberpunk world with kpop music and has a hot woman that has a ton of outfits. It just checks a lot of boxes. My only gripes really is that some aspects of the combat don't fully sit well with me, like the emphasis on parrying instead of just being allowed to go fully on the offensive like Bayonetta or DMC. however the buttrock and pop songs, the QTEs, the flashy animations, the over the top cutscenes, it's all 7th gen era vidya that I really miss.

If you notice, there's been a "first" bump before the second bump/peak pops off. The "first" bump is much higher today. About 33% higher than the first two days. If the peak is 33% higher than the past two days, Saturday's peak will be around 240k.

Once you get used to the flow of combat though I find it a lot of fun to dodge, parry, counter, etc, and you do start to pull off combos and mix attacks. The bosses are fewer in number than something like Elden Ring and feel a bit more memorable.
I hate the "found/saw a thing? come back later when you have double jump/the code/a quest/it arbitrarily gets unlocked :^)" elements this game hasotherwise I have enjoyed it
