Power will raise stamina, I'd say 5 speed 1 strong power card is good. Raising your speed up to max will naturally get your power pretty hihg too so you could just go full speed + super creek for mile, then probably a 4-5 speed + 1-2 power cards for sprint.

Tachyon is indeed meta, Biwa is a strong pace chaser in her own right. Front runners are really strong when trained right but yeah a lot of it is luck too, not just what can happen in a race but who you get matched against.

The grandparents are a 3* Stamina / 3* Turf Tachyon and a 3* Stamina / 2* Long Oguri. If I keep grinding until I have a 3* Stamina / 3* Long Rudolf with those grandparents and I borrow a 6* Stamina / 3* Speed / 6* Turf Oguri parent would this give me a reliable chance at getting Turf S and Long S on Taishin AND hit max stamina and at least 1000 speed?

Stamina is the chokepoint, if you dont have enough + gold recovery abilities, you WILL gas out before the finish line which means your speed effectively goes to ZERO. Borrow your MLB super creek and use your 1lb-2lb kitasan, it's fine. >Manhattan or Top Gun SR MLB Yeah that would be nice to have. Also consider McQueen (free) SSR for Cooldown gold recovery ability which will be useful if you need another one, and an okay stamina card to run alongside super creek which WILL provide most of the stamina you need assuming you have some decent stamina sparks. The race being longer means that straightaway abilities will be slightly stronger here. Corner abilities are always really strong, but go for straightaway speed boost abilities too. But yes, if you dont bring enough stamina you WILL get fucked. Pic related, dont need to match to a T but just some things to aim for. On a long 3200m race, even if you have 1200 stamina, YOU WILL STILL GAS! (this isn't how it works in career mode because you get a huge hidden stamina boost there). So for a long to not gas and avoid dying to debuffs, you want 1200 + two golds, or 1000+ and three golds. But the more you rely on recovery abilities, the more chances you're leaving up to RNG. Gassing out is the worst possible thing that can happen. Having slightly more guts for this race helps too as it's effectively you're emergency stamina reserves (aim for 400+ instead of the usual 300+). One more thing, the faster you are, the more stamina you burn. So if your speed isn't as high, it might make things a bit easier on your stamina, not that you should try and lower your speed but just something to keep in mind. Max out stamina and secure your gold recovery abilities first, THEN focus on speed. I expect many are going to be filtered who dont respect or understand the stamina requirements.

There's no other way to get this ability than through a potential 5 taishin, and Im not sure if you can pass it on via breeding or if only the weaker straightaway spurt would be inherited? Either way, it's gonna be difficult to access this unless you have Taishin at potential level 5 on your team with this ability sparked on, if that's even possible.

Finally watched Ogurin's show and I can't help but feel it's kind of overrated? the animation is top tier for sure. But like thats its biggest selling point, the story was pretty good. But like there was never really a time where I felt Oguri was actually an underdog. She excelled against literally everyone and only lost twice, not once did I feel sorry for Oguri, Cross had little to no development so for me she fell flat. it was good but like... there were no real heartfelt moments imo. So get her to max stamina, grab gourmand (run her as pace) and swinging maestro and your stamina is covered. For other abilities, anything corner/straightaway will be universally good. So end corners, end straightways, pace chaser corners, pace chaser straightways. Lastly the green abilities like firm conditions, standard distance, right handed, spring days etc will give you various stamina/speed/power boosts and are good to grab if you come across them. Personally I'm getting my special week to potential 5 so she can also have the skill body and mind, which is a stronger version of homestretch haste essentially and really good for that last stretch. Just priortize stamina and once you know it will be maxed out and you have your recovery abilities, then focus on boosting your other stats

The easiest ones to access are breath of fresh air which you can get from Vodka's SSR or from the director in a random event where she gives you carrats, choose bottom option (so not guaranteed every run). The other is McQueen's cooldown which is a Long recovery ability, and the McQueen card is a freebie so everyone should have that by now. It's not the best card for building stamina, but it will get you cooldown which is what you'll need. Aim for max stamina, two gold heals. Good luck

Red shift was really good due to where it activated on the medium course we just had. But for this long course, it activates too late essentially. The reason straightaway spurt is better than any other ability for this course is because it activates the earliest, allowing your end to surge ahead of the back on the final corner and hold it in the stretch. You want that acceleration ASAP basically, so you choose the best ability for each course. nips have been minmaxing this system for years, so they know when each ability is gonna kick in. It's not really hearsay or guesswork, they've had lots of time to test this.

>>719206930Yeah I think reason why pace chasers are easy is because they're strong but also many of them have innate gold recoveries which aren't going to be easy to come by in a career outside of Swinging Maestro. Pace Chasers may be stamina hungry, but they stay at the front of the pack. End closers will have a serious edge though due to their acceleration abilities for this course and less reliance on stamina means more stats can go into other things. Golshi has that strong natural heal too...she's gonna be even more of a menace than the last time. I'm sure you guys understand that by now

You keep breeding towards them, and eventualy you'll get lucky and get a three star, then you can get lucky and have a 9 star, and that 9 star parent will be usable for a really long time. So keep playing the long game. Take what you have now and keep breeding towards a certain "style", or character, those parents will only get stronger over time. If you just started it's fine to go with that. As you say if you wait until you get a 9 star parent before the CM, you're not even going to have one grandparent done if you're unlucky with it. So go with that one you posted, definitely move on to the next.
