Planning them out like this makes your runs a lot smoother in the long run, and gives your more options when you run out of borrows for the day. >>719279792Yeah basically, with the grandparents, the only thing that matters is that grandparents blue spark and pink spark. All of the grandparents's own ancestors will be gone by the time you get to your desired "child". Only thing of your grandparents that will remain is their own blue spark and pink spark, so pay attention to those. So look around your stock and try and find someone that has 3* stamina sparks if you have one, which I know are hard to come by...so if you dont then settle with any 2* stamina sparks, and try and find one with the pink long spark, doesn't matter if it's 1 or 3 stars. You just want to ensure as many long sparks on every grandparent and parent. You can also include some turf sparks as that doesn't hurt to include, but lean into long as much as you can. Then when you make the parent, chances are it's going to be difficult to have them turn into a 3 star, giving you a 9 star parent, so you might need to settle with an 8* or 7* parent to get started, however! that is still a big chunk of stats being inherited at the start of the run and twice per inspiration. So having those blue sparks is better than nothing, and having only long pink sparks ensures there's a decent chance your long aptitude gets raised during the inspiration events. If there any abilities you want on your parents, then you can run a slightly altered deck for them that includes ability hints from cards that you wouldn't normally run in a regular playthrough because you need to speed/stamina max right? So if there is an ability you want, you can spark, it onto the parents, but it is RNG dependent if it actually becomes a spark at the end of the run. With parents, you want to at least have them finish the ura finale, because there's a spark for that that can happen and it raises your stamina and speed by a pretty large margin each inspiration. It's not *necessary* to have it, but you want it, so try and have your parents at least clear the Finale

Obviously for this race gold stamina heals are important, so you need to prioritize those and enough stamina not to gas. But for any race, if you see "long corners" for a long race, grab that (it's on kitasan so chances are you'll get a hint in a regular run). If you see...pace chaser corners, grab that if you're running a pace chaser. This is why "Professor of Curvature" is so good because it activates on every corner, a stronger version of corner adept. In this same sense, straightaway abilities are usually universally good as well. So Long straightaways, "pace chaser straightaways" etc etc. Those are really, really strong skills to grab.Also dont sleep on green skills which activate at the start of the map. "Spring runner" for instance seems kinda niche but it actually gives you a free speed boost for cheap at the start of the match, 40+ speed. If you run right-handed, since this is a right ahnded course, that's another 40+ speed. Firm conditions gives you a power boost. Standard distance gives you a stamina boost. They ALWAYS activate at the start of the match, and for a CM you can pick the perfect ones to get the most out of it. But with all the skill points you'll be spending on swinging maestro, professor of curvatuer, and another gold heal, you're probably not gonna have a ton of skill points leftover. But that's where skill spaarks can help because they give you hints which reduces the price by 10% each time. So every little bit helps. Go for those corners and straightaway abilities. For this long, but also whatever style you're running. So end closer corners on golshi, etc etc.

The rest of those white sparks aren't ideal unless you're running a late surger or front runner, but honestly I wouldn't worry too much about those. Like I said, focus on blue and pink sparks right now. 3 star stamina, good. 3 star turf also good. Then grandparent in more 3 star stamina and something with 2+ long sparks that also will give you decent affinity. Shouldn't be too hard to find on those uma database sites.

Unfortunately for tachyon, this maruzensky has really bad affinity with her, and so even if her parents are the max affinity options being nice nature and fuku, and then borrowing even more compatible grandparents where you'd borrow in an oguri, and borrow in a special week with the sparks you want, we're just 8 shy of the affinity needed for double circle, which is actually pretty close. Now if we had these grandparents and parents win the same G-1 races, it would race your affinity even more, so it is doable with this setup. I can try golshi in a second, but for tachyon, you may want to consider a different grandparent and just settle with something that's not really ideal but you only have so much to work with, so a compromise might have to be made somewhere.Look at lineage 1-1, and 2-2, those are the maruzensky ones. You can see it's giving us shit for affinity, which is not idea. I'll plug in golshi and maybe maru will be a better grandparent for her.

Understanding how the breeding system works is also useful to breed up umas that can raise style affinity for team trials or careers. Say you want to run Air Groove in a sprint race and need to get her C aptitude up to A, or get somebody to be better in dirt races, or to have someone race in a style they wouldn't normally race. When you learn the basics, transplanting those sparks to a desired child with a specific intent becomes much easier
