Games need to be hard. What’s the point of playing a game if there’s no challenge to overcome? I do think easy modes should still exist for kids and disabled people, but as a grown man you should not be playing on easy. I don’t have time is not an excuse. It’s a game. Play it over several weeks if you have to. Savour it. Enjoy it. Why are you in a rush to beat it? You’re treating gaming like a chore, and all the games you ‘have’ to play like they’re part of a checklist. In saying that though, not all hard games are automatically good. Many games fall into the trap of being too hard for the sake of being hard, to the point where you can’t engage with all the games mechanics and have to cheese it to win.
