Dragon Age II was great and im tired of you fags saying otherwise.
It's only great because you're a Zoomer and lack context. Yes, compared to Inquisition and Veilguard, Dragon Age 2 was great. But if you'd played it when it came out and the only other Dragon Age game you had to compare it to was Origins, it was just a steaming pile of shit. >>719285049I've been playing through the DA games the past couple of years for the first time and despite DA2 being a pretty big step down from the masterpiece of Origins I still enjoyed it for the most part. I could see why people probably didn't like it at the time since the map/mission setup is pretty restrictive but after a decade+ of FUCKHUGE open worlds it was honestly refreshing. Inquisition I couldn't even finish it was so fucking grindy and I'm not even going to waste my time with Veilguard.

>>719285836Not OP, but while dragon age II has a lot of problems, a lot of those issues were mainly because the EA acquisition, and they just wanted to push it out of the door when it really needed another 6 months to a year to bake. I liked that you're not the chosen one, you're just some asshole trying to make your way in a city built on a hell-mouth that's constantly trying to eat itself alive. I like that it takes place over years, and the chapters are just big pivotal moments in the city. I like that your companions don't just sit around in camp when they're not in your party, and you can find them just hanging out around the city.
