I don't think it was the worst FF. I actually liked it quite a bit. However, it does have its flaws. It did look great and sound phenomenal. This is one of the best FF OSTs. Even though it's very serious it still presents itself as video gamey at time and has charm.

I knew 16 wasn't going to advance beyond mediocre the moment I entered the desert and there were no cactuars. I spent the whole game waiting for a Tonberry as well. Unforgivable. I don't care that the DLC added a Tonberry. It should have been in the base game. The game was confirmed shit when the Odin fight didn't have a monster battle. I had been looking forward to that fight since the trailers.
