In my quest of trying to complete every Pokemon game to a level I feel satisfied with I actually bred "competitive" mons for the battle frontier. I was using an emulator though for insane speedup but it was still a bitch and a half trying to do it the "right" way by catching tons of Ditto till I got good natures/IVs on some, then breeding a mon over and over till it came out with good IVs and nature.

I bred a Salamence, Metagross, Swampert, and Milotic doing that.

and then I cheated with save states in the frontier anyway so I would get my streak broken by bullshit
Seriously the amount of blatant hard counter picks the AI seems to throw at you when you've got a good streak going is insane.

I did the same in HGSS, Platinum, and White.

Shame FRLG didn't have a proper post game battle facility.

90% of people only ever did the factory and maybe tower. Nobody bothered with the other gimmick modes.
