Don't mind me, just being the best L4D map
BASED ALERTBASED ALERTBASED ALERT
It's one of the best Versus maps too, not that you casuals would know>That big death drop spot>And it becomes a big game changing death drop spot AGAIN and players mentally have to prepare for the elevator ride
>die as jokey>wait 15 seconds>boomer spawnhow do you reply without seeming mad?
>back tracking in a hurricaneLet me guess, sh4 is the best too?
>>719304145Testing
>>719304145i still believe dead air is the best map though dark carnival is close.
>no xp grinds>no item drops>no loot boxes>no skills to unlockRemember when playing the actual game was all the fun you needed?
the first and last map with the large opening to water for chargers was such a meme.
>>719305783It would actually be cool if they included cosmetics in l4d, but make it so that you have to either do some challenges to unlock them, or find them during a run and then carry them all the way to the end or something.
>>719305783As someone that's only very recently got into l4d2 and has been playing with randos, it was great fun on my first plathrough had a good lobby and did most of the game with them, but the replayability is kinda limited I've been playing it on and off in the evenings just re-doing some stuff and now I'm pretty much done with it, expert mode is good fun but advanced and below don't really offer much of a challenge and there's not much variation in runs even though weapons and meds spawn at different places it doesn't add much variation.
>>719304145Love hard rain. Why did nobody like it? Infinitely better than the fucking swamp or playing dark carnival for the billionth time.
>>719304145Good morning sirs, I still play L4D because I can't afford a new computer.
>>719307603>nooo you can't just play good, old games>you need to finance AAA shit so they outsource 90% of their work to indiansget fucked
>>719304145I once spray painted big tits on the wall and another player walked up to it and turned their mic on, turns out it was a lil kid all gobsmacked.
>>719306917Still better than not having any of that stuff that anon mentioned
It’s been so long I don’t even remember the map from the top of my head
>>719304725It is and it isn't. SH4 is a painful and stressful experience and like Drakengard I believe it works in its favor. Things like real-time inventory management, the invincible ghosts that can block your path, the entire second half of going through every world again while escorting Eileen make the game a dreadful experience and isn't the purpose of horror to induce dread? Seriously though, the apartment segments going from a cozy if off-putting hub to gradually becoming more and more haunted, paranoia inducing and unsafe feeling is brilliant and even though their design is simplistic compared to past Silent Hill enemies, I find the ghosts deeply unnerving with their slow floaty movements and distorted voices.
