Shooting is a bit wonky on default settings, suggest turning up the free look option in the advanced controls settings. Playing it on ps3 so it's not the best performing but it runs well during gameplay. It's pretty fun. Mainly combat mixed very light puzzle solving. Mainly Starbreeze put more of their focus into the atmosphere, writing/dialogue, and VAs. Lots of funny NPCs and phone calls so the game isn't overly EDGY/melancholy. There are loading screens between zones but the zone screens has Jackie talking about his thoughts las if he was on a stage play(you can also skip them if you want). There are death loading screens where the darkness talks to you and shows you a distorted world/art. Darkness powers: fun, just wish they gave me demon arm sooner in the game and allowed me to used the darkness gun and demon arm together. Darklings: the minions are fun to use. Hell sections: lovely atmosphere and I love what it's going for fighting undead soldiers who can only die when you eat their hearts(reminds me of necrovision and I love necrovision). Issue, GIVE ME MORE WEAPONS TO PLAY WITH. This is WW1 hell, give me a mp18, a trench shot gun, the Lewis gun, and the MG08.Darkness 2 has better overall gameplay cause Quad wielding and glory kills you can choose on the fly to give you ammo, health, power ups, or a shield you can throw to chop fools in half but it lacks the atmosphere, side quest, and the cooler hell of the first game. That and also one of the better levels(the news station level) is locked behind the co op vendetta mode and you can't even play as Jackie/the darkness. Like WTF MAN.PS you can unlock comics in the darkness 1(pic kind of related, like you can unlock darkness levels issues 0 which is the game tie in but not issue 1 darkness levels which is pic related but you can unlock darkness volume 1 issue 1 and volume 2 issue 1).

My character's son didn't get priority but he's second on the list because he's a capable and experienced cleric and should be able to hold on while we solve one of the other crisis. However the DM said I can make the son a character sheet. And my initial idea when writing my backstory was if my character dies to play as his son. I will ask the DM to either let me play as the son in one of the sessions or play as both the son and the father. I generated what the son would kinda look like, he's a gnome peace cleric, serving the ideal of modesty and humility, giving all his possessions and even lifeforce to help others. In contrast his father, my current character is a deep gnome genie warlock, who's a shady merchant and is comically stingy and greedy and always brewing a con to scam someone. He does however love his son and would do anything for him, despite being a total dick to everyone else.

Personally, I've only finished Arkahm Asylum and City. I gave up on Knight because I just really didn't like the open world aspect of it...part the reason why I didn't really enjoy Asylum as much. I think I played the first 3-4 hours of Knight, plus it was leaving PS Plus, so I only had like 2 weeks to finish it. I haven't played Origins yet though. Overally SM was okay although I fucking HATED the stealth sections with Mary Jane and Miles Morales, you will probably hate it too. The Miles bit made sense as it set it up for the expansion + SM2 but Mary Jane shit was annoying as fuck and pointless. Nobody plays SpiderMan to play as MJ.
