Child of Eden is a rail shooter that came out a few years ago and while it's short, it's nonstop intense gameplay that rewards skill and execution, while being extremely beautiful and funThe last stage and end credits is the only other game to make me cry besides Nier Automata, bros you have to play this game>dude showing emotions is cringe bro that's not sigma broTime to let your irony poisoning fly away
I loved it, it's a spiritual successor to Rez, the music's more based in J-Pop (It's based around Genki Rockets's tunes) which may not be for everyone but I loved itGameplay was a bit harder than Rez as well, perfecting the stages was genuinely challenging and the last stage (Hope Archive) was hardDefinitely a hidden gem
It's bad because of the first-person perspective.Rez had a third-person perspective, allowing you to see enemy attacks and projectiles approaching from any angle, so you could shoot them down. First-person mode is locked by default, because it results in an inferior gameplay experience.Child of Eden has a first-person perspective, and requires you to observe warning markers on the edge of the screen to turn and intercept attacks. This results in an inferior gameplay experience. The most telling thing is that Rez VR retains the third-person perspective, despite being perfectly suited to first-person. This is because they realized that third-person is required for a game like this. First-person is a mistake.
>>719313193>it's badFILTEREDLearn to adapt instead of crying
>>719313263Not an argument.
>>719313352I wasn't arguing, I was telling you to adapt
The live-action videos are shitty
>>719313374There's nothing to adapt to.Having to slowly turn the camera to intercept projectiles isn't fun.
