>"retro" indie game that uses pixelart

I bet you're real fun at parties...

>I'm making a game in the style of a gameboy game!
>doesn't limit palette
>widescreen
>sprites are huge
>music way too complex to be gameboy music

who needs parties when you have games
>>

in the style =/= adhering to hardware limitations

that's like complaining that early 3D psx/n64 inspired games don't run at 15fps or that snes inspired games have online modes
>>
>>719314182
yeah like what the fuck is the point? nothing about it will feel like the era of games you are attempting to emulate so why bother?

Katana ZERO is a pixel art game, but it's certainly not "retro". Its visual style is a mix of vaporwave and cyberpunk.

for a second I thought this was gonna be some badass cop game where you shoot brown people with a combat shotgun but then I saw the weeb samurai in a bath robe and remembered it's katana zero
unimaginable disappointment
