the soundtrack is amazing and the gameplay has the epicness element to it, which makes it memorable. Listen to the song it plays when you get to Gran Soren, that makes that place way more grandiose that it actually is.

if you actually think dragons smegma gives you authentic LotR feels you are severely stunted in terms of your capacity to appreciate true beauty and wonder. DD does not have them. in fact it takes those high ideals and makes a travesty of them, a mockery

all of gran soren is less stimulating to the adventurous soul than a skyrim village
