Looking at Injustice and MK makes me think these games are literally some kind of parody of fighting games.
MK1 Especially.
Like every single thing is shit people who dont play fighting games assume fighting games are like.

Having to memorize several different target combos that are all different and do different things deepening on the character.
Most combos having minimal timing and being based more on just memorizing the combo string as in Dial a combo.
Many instances of just having to guess how to block random out of nowhere moves.
Combos being like the only real way to deal damage in a match and the same combos lasting forever.
I also dislike just how stiff in general these games feel to play.
And mind you i do play almsot all fighting games not just SF or Tekken.
