If you don't own a CRT by now, you are alreary priced out.
>>719344098All CRT televisions will eventually be rendered unusuable when the magnetic poles migrate
>>719344098I'm okay with that.
>>719344098>le old is good!!yeah, no
Why would I want to? I already have a tv that works just fine. Older games look great on it and I dont see the reason.
We all threw out our CRTs in the 00s, enjoy your blurfest
I have an OLED
Its the equivalent of buy a 747373fps tv with Dolby vision and atmos. Games are made at 60fps anyway, the fuck you need all that for?
>>719344098OLED+Retrotink 4k makes your boomertube look like shit in comparison.
>>719344098i don't need more useless junk in my life.
Paint in the ass things to move to landfill. Should've gotten rid of when thrift stores still accepted those
>>719344536Should have kept the old trintiron i had as a kid. It was huge and weighed a ton. Of I knew they'd be desirable I'd have kept it. And not have smashed it with a sledgehammer for fun with I got my first flatscreen
>>719344098>*enables CRT royale in reshade*don't mind me, just pirating this CRT
>>719344098I'll admit, with as little I use a television whatsoever, if someone were willing to offer me dozens of thousands of dollars, or more!, I'd accept that business arrangement and gift my two CRT televisions.
maybe it's the fact that i live in flyover but 32 in sets are all over the place, much of them for free. if you want anything compact you need to pay but if you have a truck and a buddy to teamlift you can get a crt where i live.
>>719344626Yea you should've totally hauled that around for 30 years to get 100 bucks or whatever
>>719344098Never understood the trinitroons. The main reason to use CRTs with old games is that they used the low quality signal to their advantage to create faux-transparency, or fake colors with dithering. The better your CRT TV and the better the signal, the further you're straying from the advantages of using a CRT TV for retro gaming.
>>719344098If CRTs were great I wouldn't have replaced them with the worst imaginable 4:3 TN panels back in the day. You can't trick me.
