REMINDER THAT WII MOTION PLUS WAS THE BIGGEST SCAM IN GAMING HISTORY
>the baseball mini game in Wii Sports, a pack-in launch title for the Wii, had flawless 1:1 tracking of the wiimote
>somehow Skyward Sword required the Wii motion plus accessory, a separate purchase, despite the tracking working more or less identically to how it did in Wii Sports
Something isn’t right about this. I swear to God they forced us to buy this for no reason, it’s just a random piece of plastic they decided to charge us for to play the new Zelda

for games that were designed around it at least, there is a significant difference in precision

Didn't it only work with like 2.67 games?

It was an excuse to sell more dido sleeves

I was annoyed that you were sometimes forced to use it to perform functions that could have been assigned just fine to a button or made context sensitive. Looking at you, New Super Mario Bros

If you'd played Red Steel 1 and 2 you'd know that's not true

Who cares

It really didn't, and in boxing which is from the exact same game the tracking was fucking terrible
