Is this thing worth it for someone that already has a PS5 and a good PC (and Steam Deck)?
I was thinking of using it to emulate PS1/PS2/Saturn/Dreamcast and playing like 3 games: Lost Odyssey, Ninja Gaiden 2 and Blue Dragon.

It's not necessarily expensive, the fact that it doesn't have a disc drive is kinda annoying but i don't plan on buying much for it anyway.

Kinda but not really. You have to know that all of the emulators are fan made ports of the official emulators using hand made UI that suck balls.
Though you can setup Retroarch to avoid using that shit or install a frontend that doesn't really work properly.
It does work but you need to be ready for ultra jank.

I've seen that some of the cores work perfectly on RetroArch, others you have to install separate emulators because the cores on RetroArch are outdated or not the best option around. I think the PS2 emulator and Dolphin are two examples for that, but i'm not sure since i still haven't gotten my Series S.
The only reason i'm even considering buying one is because i was going to buy a Saturn and people want almost the same amount of money for a Saturn with Saroo, which is ludicrous.

The saturn games I played on it worked fine so it should be good

What about PS2? Is it decent or are the stutter frequent? I don't care all that much about the Gamecube because i do have a Gamecube with Picoboot and i like playing on original hardware, but is it good or are there a lot of frame drops as well?
Most ot the videos showcasing emulation on the Series S are kinda old by now, so i'm curious.

Didn't really play PS2 yet so I can't say

it's a decent emulation machine, but you gotta do dev mode for them. had one when people were uploading emulators in retail mode and it was quite nice, but now that I have a CRT and the handful of consoles I wanted I no longer needed it, so I sold it.

PS2 worked pretty good, played most of DQ8 on mine, ignore the cursor that's from me mousing over the capture software.

Yeah it's great, I emulated a shit ton of games on mine. Currently playing monster hunter 4 on it

no point in getting a digital only console

Ps2 is pretty good. Has all the same issues any ps2 emulator has. Don’t know Xbox series s performance but runs great on c

I already have a PS5 for my physical games, i don't plan on buying many Xbox games besides the few i mentioned.
