It was peak in 2018. After that we kept getting shitty updates with shittier weapons. jannies got more and more conttrol which naturally ruins the organic chaos. And the playerbase turned faggier. I played it a few months ago and got banned for closing soome doors on my team mates (and for calling the janny a fag in his gay little fag tower but he was planning on banning me anyway)

For real though what killed the quality of public server was them having to follow Northwood's overly invasive rules and needing to link a discord for "verification". They just couldn't have people host public servers, but needed them to get it verified by the devs. What a dumb fucking decision.
