yes but in this case all they did was improve the gameplay and have a couple standout songs, the story/writing are still dogshit in magnolia and the level design is nothing special

>>719390626My least favorite part about Magnolia is that it cut out all generic enemy attacks and the limited amount. I get that it wasn't everybody's favorite mechanic but I liked the idea of having to conserve more resources than just my heal to get through any given area. Having multiple different enemies meant I could customize my loadout and thus gameplan and tailor it to every area inbetween rest points. It was fun.But everybody just used the infinite boss attacks instead so they only kept those in for Magnolia, what a shame.
