lolwhen the PS3 came out, I told myself I'd get it when the price drops a lot. Before then, I expected the prices of consoles to drop to like $50 for a used console by the time the next generation started, and that you'd be able to grab copies of games for a couple of dollars, or $5 at most.So I never owned a PS3. I've always got consoles a generation behind and saved a lot of money, and would get huge deals on copies of games. Like I bought 50 NES games in the mid 90s for $1 each. When the PS3 came out, I bought a PS2 for $20 at a yard sale. Even on Ebay where prices were high in the 00s compared to deals you could find in real life I was paying like $5 for games.That day never really came. Even like 10+ years later, the PS3 was going for like $150 used for one. The bargain prices that you used to be able to get for consoles and games that were a generation or two behind were completely gone.

>>719395386Same, I just bought a ps4 and a xbox one. Both for less than $60. My primary platform is PC but I still like consoles, I always wait between 5-10 years before I buy them. I don't suffer from, 'Fear of missing out' (FOMO) so waiting doesn't bother me. Did the same thing with the super nintendo, n64, playstation one and two. It's a great way play console games if you don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for them.
