This game is funner to explore than Fallout New Vegas in every single way. >locations have better level design, you always find a new interesting item each playthrough >subways are boring but you always find something new each playthrough >atmosphere, while not making sense when you consider how the Commonwealth and Mojave look, is top tierMeanwhile New Vegas has a handful of decent locations mostly held up by lore, and a shitton of caves that are filled with wildlife with, at best, usually a worthless unique and at worse a couple duffle bags and corpses with nothing on them. Therefore, besides not having iron sights, Fallout 3 has better gameplay and is much funner to explore than Vegas. Also Point Lookout has better atmosphere than the Mojave and ANY of the dlcs, even Dead Money. Yes New Vegas has a better story and lore, but when it comes to actually being a fun game Fallout 3 wins And this becomes much more clear when you play TTW, which is pretty much the only way to play these games in the modern day and will stay that way unless both of the remakes are good and they make a TTW for the remakes somehow. I don’t play these games for lore anyway I play them to shoot Radscorpions and Deathclaws and Raiders and Robots and shit and loot areas.
