For a game that shows great fidelity to the American Frontier and its history, character customization is disappointing as fuck. There's less than two tozens of them and most are a slight variation of Marston's default poop colored cowboy vest with a few articles of clothing thrown on like a latinx sombrero or a red bandana. Really disappointing stuff. The only one I bother unlocking is the duster coat because it looks the coolest. The Walton gang outfit would have been nice if it didn't look so faggy by having John tear his sleeves off like a male stripper. The elegant suit tries to be unique but the game cockblocks you by keeping Marston's default hat on instead of giving you something more sartorially fitting like a top hat or bowler hat. Most of the suits are locked behind tedious grindfests and are not worth getting. Really pisses me off how they didn't bother giving you the option to customize your character any further, especially after you realize that they bothered to program a tailor shop and you can only buy ONE suit from there.
>>719401082still better than rdr2 where you can't even get a duster that doesn't look like a potato sack covered in bird poop. i wish we could get micah's or sadie's coats
>>719401082better than rdr2 (dutch why u killed this granny, she's just tried to kill with that knife, but she's woman, dutch! )
Obtaining outfits in this game usually requires tedious work anyway. Just don't bother. It's not worth it anyways.I ignored outfits and was able to enjoy the game no prob
