Just marathoned lords of the fallen
Pretty great, for once a soulslop that focuses more on exploration rather than epic boss rushes. I think the surge is the only other clone that does this

Totally agree, man. Lords of the Fallen (the reboot, not the janky 2014 one) feels way more deliberate with its world design. Shit actually feels interconnected in a way most clones don’t even attempt. The whole Umbral realm switching mechanic really adds layers to the exploration too, like you’re constantly peeling back new parts of the world instead of just going checkpoint to boss arena. Surge had that great level layout too, kind of like Souls mixed with Metroid. Honestly wish more of these copycats would realize it’s not just about hard bosses and rolling through particle effects.
