Looks very mid. I don't think making a copy of a game from 1999 which was niche to begin with is going to do very well with the zoomer crowd and pandering to the nominal oldfags never ends well because they don't need a clone of HoMM3, they already have HoMM3, it's called HoMM3. The arstyle is also rather questionable, I guess it's better than the last couple times and the map is clean and readable but the bar is just that low at this point. And if you're pandering to the core crowd then pretending you're setting the game in Jadame then springing the trap with bug inferno and le tentacle horror man factions straight out of heroescommunity.com fanfiction is likely not the way to go. Well I suppose it remains to be seen how it actually feels to play, I refuse to touch closed beta versions. I just fear it's gonna properly bomb just like the rest and then have the dev support cut with anywhere between 0 to 1 content expansions. Again.
