Most of them are only surprising if you don't understand the context of them. Like, we were very surprised when Arin Hanson and Dunkey started waging social warfare on Sonic Adventure and henceforth demanding every nerd property be stripped of all its accumulated complexity and depth, but when you understand they're basically doing it because they want to creatively suffocate and kill autistic people, it makes much more sense.
