>>719416456You also need to look at console sales, I don't know why you guys are convinced that 100% of the gaming population plays on PC. Traditional action games or "hack n slash" games developed and evolved on consoles, I'd imagine that many fans of games like this are still on consoles. That being said, LSA might still have weak launch sales even with consoles accounted for but it is a new IP. I'm fairly certain that NG4 will have a stronger launch.

>>719419071I don't know what to tell you anon, I'm aware that NG isn't a massive IP but it's still a long running IP that has it's fan, certainly more than something completely new like LSA. TN was very successful with the Nioh series and I'd be willing to bet that some of their newly gained Nioh audience will have an interest in NG4. Platinum's reputation has been flakey lately but they've still made a lot of action games and have their fair share of fans as well. I don't know how well or poorly NG4 will do exactly but I'll stick by my original post of saying that I'm expecting stronger launch sales than LSA. And if the game is good like I think it will be, that can create buzz and contribute to better lifetime sales.
