>>719410653Normally, you would be able to take out the solid state drive, but the drive in the PS5 is hard-wired into the motherboard. Take it to a repair shop and they might be able to get the data off somehow. Either that, or a data recovery center. Also, you were using a power strip, not a surge protector(or maybe it was a really old surge protector where the surge protector circuitry expired)

>>719410653I haven't tried it with a PS5, but if it's like PS4, you hold the power button for 8 seconds while turning it on to bring up the special boot menu. Select rebuild database. Select clear cache too for good luck.
