I went back to give BotW and TotK another run on the switch 2 with the upgrade pack.
After beating BotW I really really feel like TotK is the better game. It feels amazing despite the usual gripes.
The skills are so much more refined. I love it.
BotW seriously can't compete at all.

I also think TOTK is far better and I liked BOTW quite a lot. Generally speaking, most of the reasoning/arguments I read for BOTW being better boil down to a mixture of double standards and the tendency to overvalue whatever does something first as opposed to whatever does it best (and I say that as someone who tends to find what relatively older games achieved despite their limitations more impressive by default than their more recent follow-ups even if they're comparably good).
