I guess this will be one of the few games for Xbox Series with a ''clothes get torn'' mechanic.

I heard everyone trashed it, is it actually good?

It's okay. The physical Xbox Series X version will have a MSRP of $40 instead of $60 like the PS4 and PS5 versions, at least there's that.

sold 18 copies on steam. Surely xbox can do better

''Concurrent users'' isn't the best reference for sales especially if it's an old image or from a while ago but maybe it really is a game that sold a few hundred copies on Steam, at best. I hope that the console versions make up for it, it even has a physical PS4 version in the west and not in Japan.

Only because Scar-Lead's version is tame (only goes down to very un-revealing underwear), is not portrayed erotically, and because the heroine is a "safe" body-type/age rather than a moe girl which triggers HECKIN UNDERAGED alarms in the roastie/simp cultural commissars. In other words, it's safe horny, evidenced by the very fact that it's on the platform that banned Gal*Gun Returns.

>it's on the platform that banned Gal*Gun
you forget that inti didn't even consider rereleasing gal gun on ps4. They are the same breed, and nintendo is back to banning echi too

People like to blame the Kinect, or the no used games, or the price tag, or that one Calladoody comparison on why the Bone failed, but for me it was no Japanese games.

I bought a Xbox One, confident that stuff like Culdcept Saga, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Wartech style only on Xbox 360 Exclusives would be coming and the japjank kinos like Deadly Premonition and a fair chunk of mainstream titles would make it over too. Just like they did in 7th gen.

And then none of that happened. Being stuck in the cuck room for years waiting for something as mainstream as Dragon Quest 11/Nier Automata made me switch to Playstation.

Can't argue with this. The cutscenes don't use specific camera angles and Willow Martin is explicitly a woman in her 20s, I don't use the term ''safe horny'' but I guess it can be considered as such. Then again, it's a game rated CERO B in Japan and T for Teen in America, one shouldn't expect something on par with a Senran Kagura game, Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni and School Girl Zombie Hunter which are rated M, but it's true that Omega Quintet and Dark Rose Valkyrie prove that a game rated T can have torn clothes and not be very tame with its fanservice (indeed, those two games have a higher age rating in Japan, even though they have the same age rating in the west).

Having said all that, I don't think that the ''HECKIN UNDERAGED'' part is very relevant, Microsoft has allowed Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters (Rom and Ram are playable characters), Dead or Alive 5 and 6 (Marie Rose) and some Gunvolt games without issues.

I don't remember this.

Willow Martin and her game

>Remove the fanservice of a coomer game
>Everyone realizes it's shit not worth playing
Every single time.

Only good thing about the American fundamentalists evolving during these times.
>>
>>719421875
But it has some fanservice and it's a new IP...

>Microsoft has allowed Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters
Post-2020 neutered Neptunia games don't really count for much. The real test is if they will take the Re;Births. Nintendo already failed that test and Microsoft are still worse than them judging by how Steam Heart's Xbox release was canceled.
>Dead or Alive
Was it 5 or 6 where they neutered the fanservice for "core values" or some shit? I didn't pay that much attention to this back when it was happening since I don't care much for DOA.
>>
>>719424525
Well, Rom and Ram are playable in that Neptunia game but it's true that a real test would be the Re;birth games.
>>
>>719424525
It was Dead or Alive 6, to the point that it doesn't have ''Partial Nudity'' as one of its content descriptors, that said, it's still a game with some fan service and Marie Rose.
