Silksong will have over 1+ million concurrent players on Steam alone, I am fairly confident. I would be even more confident if not for it also being a day 1 Gamepass game.

In 2023, Elden Ring, a 60 usd game, was able to hit 950 million peak concurrent. Hollow Knight's recent peak concurrent player count is MUCH higher than all three Dark Souls games combined before Elden Ring release. HK's subreddit and r/Silksong combined have more subs than the Dark Souls subreddits and ER subreddit before release combined.

Silksong has been #1 wishlisted on Steam for forever, and has been hyped to the moon. Silksong's YT trailer has over 4.6 million views and over half a million likes.

The game will release for 20 usd, which is an excellent price, barely more than Hollow Knight after accounting for inflation. This guarantees extra sales, and puts most of my Gamepass worries aside.

Everything is in place for a historic release for Silksong.

1+ million concurrent players on Steam within the first 2 weeks, 20+ million sales.
