DS. It's amazing how condensing the game down for handheld play and generally improving the tempo of the game inherently lent itself to making Mario Party more fun to actually play. And it's a fucking technical marvel - how the fuck did they manage to make it so that download play is so fully featured, even for the downloaded systems? It's literally zero-compromise.

I'd believe it if it were still 2015. But the last few Mario Titles have put a big emphasis on costumes, to the point that it's absence conspicuous in Party. Mario Odyssey, Princess Peach Showtime, Mario Kart World, etc.
