What movement keys do you use, WASD, arrow keys, ESDF or RDFG or some other thing? Which one is for you /v/?

Analog left stick

But seriously, I just stick with WASD

any ESDFags in this thread explain yourselves. what games do you even benefit in from using it?
>>

I use WRAS since I made the mistake of changing keyboard layouts years ago after falling into a rabbit hole of keyboard ergonomics
it's just WASD but colemak layout changes it to WRAS

Unless you play like WoW or something and need 60 different keybinds I don't see the advantage of switching to another movement key layout

It boggles my mind that WASD became the standard when ESDF is RIGHT THERE
>Gives you more keys to the immediate left
>F is a home key, making it easy to return to by touch alone
>Aligns with touch typing resting position, so it leverages all your touch typing muscle memory

Aside from simply having more keys at your immediate disposal without moving your fingers much, which is a big asset for any game that has lots of keybinds to set, if you're used to typing a lot the F key is the neutral position for your left hand (just like the J is for your right) so it just feels way more natural for people who use their PC for more things than video games.

Props for the back buttons, but it's an xbox controller. It has no gyro.

I started using it for shooters so I could have all the weapons on keys right next to my hand instead of reaching over to press the number row keys.
I still use it in games without many weapons just because I just find it more comfortable to press A&Z from ESDF than Shift & Ctrl from WASD.

Wrong. It's the future
