I got mine last week. Besides emudeck just not working, it's really good. Everything i like runs well on it. Even though I have my PC in front of me, I still like using my deck.
I got a chinkshit instead, one of the retroid pockets.already have my old PC hooked up to my TV as a home media thing, and 90% of the games I play will run on that 1080p mid-high.for when I'm out of the house, idc too much about what Im playing. the retroid can run stardew valley and pokemon, which is enough for me. I think $100 was too much for the 4gb classic retroid pocket, but whatever. Still cheaper and smaller than steam deck.

Based, get emudeck or another emulation package on your steamdeck while you're at it and use CDRomance to get the files. I love my deck for emulating old hand held games and previous gen games. You can get it all on steam's launcher too. It's objectively the perfect emulation handheld and mobile pc gaming device. You can also emulate newer stuff like switch games but I haven't bothered yet.
