NTA, I may have been a zoomer but the online experience from Payady 2 has been some of the most kino I've ever come across, it's probably nostalgia but this game + its amazing soundtrack gave something no other online coop has given me ever since

Most meta weapons got free alt versions as time went by, even the minigun. You shouldn't worry because when I started Rogue was meta (and was free) and afaik Stoic is still really good and meta for the highest difficulty and it's also free. I don't know about the latest patches but it shouldn't be p2w. And you can just join dlc heists from the menu

I honestly don't understand people's problem with old payday 2, there were more enemy variety

>enemies used to have better tactics on the deathwish update and made more sense how they approached and rushed you

>Modern day enemy code in payday is absolutely fucked compared to old enemies, they stand around and do nothing most of the time, this was done to add more enemies to counteract how OP builds are now
