I finally got this game on discount and I must've put 2 hours or less into it before I just felt an overwhelming sense of disinterest to continue, I just wanted to explore the city and it ended up railroading me in the worst possible way.

An amazing peak behind the curtain that ties into all the fun conspiracy shit hidden throughout the game while also riffing on the "the corpos want to turn you into someone else" theme.>least favouriteThe Claire mission(s). The races themselves are boring and Claire's arch is just weird and annoying. I don't know why she doesn't just hire V as a hitman? What's the point of the whole lie in the first place and why doesn't either character try to straighten it out in the least? It also feels like a complete tangent from the rest of the game and not siding with her makes her a pain in the ass to be around in later missions.

The world feels really empty and lonely, the story has me railroaded into associating with a bunch of people I don't give a fuck about, with Jackie being ripped away from me too soon. The gunplay feels bad to me too, I kinda just got a bad taste in my mouth after I got 3 shotted by a boss that was just some random psycho bitch flying around, punching me while turning invisible, tanking 8+ shotgun headshots to the face and only being brought to half health. The driving (m+kb) has probably the worst feeling controls I've ever used in any game ever, which makes me not want to explore the city. The UI is an eyesore, and the graphics themselves (I'm playing on high) aren't that impressive. The Witcher 3 looked beautiful in comparison and it's older and made by the same company.Is it worth giving it another try? I'm not a coomer so the waifus don't really appeal to me. It just makes me want to play Deus Ex desu.
