>>719440704When playing this series you always have to keep in mind that every game that comes after MGS1 is a retcon. This is because kojima didn't want to work on MGS anymore (although every time konami managed to keep him working on it).Can't remember if there are codec lines about the Cobra Unit's powers in MGS3 (pretty sure it never was nanos tho) but 100% the canon reason now is parasites.I'm pretty sure there are tapes about it in TPP
