How do people manage to play this from start to end?
I swear it's the most boring and bland shit I've ever played
>>
You just have to pick up the page and read it.
>>
Zoomer brainroot from tiktok causes that, might need to have it checked
>>
So when is 2 releasing?
>>
>>719439773
A year or two ago?
>>
>>719439561
It's a game with regular or even subpar shooting and that's it.
There really isn't more than that, so take your tiktok crap somewhere else
>>

Wat filtered you? No enough ammo? Can't evade flying axes? Playing with a controller?
>>
>>719439827
No it didn't, if it had I would have played it already.
>>
I liked how he narrated things
>>
>>719439858
I found most casuals didn't realize you don't have to waste flashlight battery focus to reveal enemies

It's a remedy game. They excel at everything except gameplay. This is still worth playing because of the story but American Nightmare focuses a lot more on the mediocre shooting and I couldn't even finish it.

i'm on a train

Just pirate it if you don't want tim to get your money, I pirated it long ago.
>>719440319
I like trains
>>
>>719440304
It will never release on Steam.
>>
>>719440376
But I do want Remedy and Gaben to get my money. Also, it is not enough that others succeed, Epic must fail.

good taste
>>
>>719440502
Cool, then they'll never get my money, I don't support anti consumer companies like Epic.

Sent remedy a check and a letter with your thoughts, it would do more than you think or invest on their company and pirate it, sent gabe a few bucks if you like.

If you don't even care about the story enough to acknowledge it, then yeah, a heavily story-driven game obviously isn't the game for you. I mean, maybe you just think the story is shit too, but that wasn't one of your complaints, so I assume it didn't even cross your mind. That's pretty wild, considering a good chunk of the game is unskippable non-shooting segments, but "shooting and that's it" sounds like you just zoned out for those parts -- or perhaps actively ignored them and made a conscious decision to judge the game entirely on its mechanics, to the point where you're not even willing to complain about an aspect of the game that obviously didn't appeal to you.
Whether a game should be judged on things like story, and whether you'd rate Alan Wake any higher when considering the story, is hardly the point, by the way. The point is that the only advice one could give you is simply not to play games which are so focused on plot and aesthetics that they're broken up into episodes like a TV show completely with unnecessary "previously on" segments. Just saying.
