I'm surprised by how few mods there are for this game and how slow the modding is considering all the tools the devs put out and how popular the game was >but there are a ton of mods99% of the mods are unsupported stuff that broke due to updates, little jimmy's retarded cheating mod that doesn't add any models or content, it just gives you cheat powers and translations into third world languages of little jimmy's retarded cheat modoh and there are a fuck ton of tranny mods or modes that make the characters look like ugly trannies for some reason, which if I remember correctly is kind of funny because the game ignores genitals and pronouns and just bases all of the sex scenes and dialogue on if you have a male or female body type
>>719448842as someone who has published a couple mods for the game I can tell you with complete certainty that the slow releases are due to the fact the tools have no documentation whatsoever.Tonnes of mods come out for games like Fallout, Skyrim and Starfield even before official tools are out because people are already familiar with the engine and how it works. Also because legacy experience with the engine carries over into the tools for the next game. There's also a bunch of extra features in the bg3 toolkit that are unavailable unless you use a plugin. Said plugin breaks whenever the game updates and the authors of said tool don't make a stable build until like 5 months after the patch, distributing unstable versions exclusively on their shitfuck discord. But yeah, once you actually get the tools running you have to figure out practically everything in it yourself.
