PC is obviously " the best " platform overall but the Series X has added utility of being one of the best retro ( Xbox ) devices because of many of the backwards compatible titles run much better on the Series X than they ever did on older hardware ( 60fps on many titles ).

Let me explain, both Sony and Microsoft hit a wall and because they wanted a digital ecosystem, they created a problem where their new consoles are barely a jump from these generations and are still getting games to this very day. Because they can't get people to drop them and move on, both Sony and Microsoft are going third party while Nintendo and Valve already cracked the code.
