This festival event kinda sucks when you keep getting paired with only 1-2 other players while the other teams are full making it impossible to win, lobbies have been unstable for a good hour for me now. Unlocked the character gadget and decided to see if there's anything unique to it but I guess not? it's just +8 handling, -5 speed for Handling characters (Amy, Cream). Why the fuck doe sit cost 3 to equip? It would at least make sense if it had the effects of collision boost and ring theft in one but it seems to literally just be a worthless stat change, for 3 cost.

I wouldn't be surprised if others came to this same conclusion, but this game is way easier and way less complex than Sonic Racing Transformed. The tracks I've played so far, at least, are so easy that it feels impossible to crash. I feel like there are safeguards in place to prevent you from using a trick when you're about to land, because I haven't botched a trick yet even when I've tried tricks off of little hops, they've just worked. Meanwhile, I've fucked those up a ton in Transformed. There's no Boost Escape to avoid weapons that are locked on to you. There's Risk Boost when you're flying. What's funny is that there is Transform Boost when you trick when converting from Flying back to Car-mode, but the game doesn't tell you about this during the tutorial.
