You are a cute mascot creature (Think Kyubey or TDM critters) who wants to ensnare young girls in a predatory magical girl arrangement. They have to attack and kill various monsters and people using magic that draws from their soul and every spell corrupts them. A lot of bad ends for cute girls. In order to strengthen the magical girls you have to seduce, corrupt, and impregnate them without letting the others find out lest they feel betrayed and all of your hard work maintaining a loving relationship goes to waste. Thus, developing a strong team is difficult over favoring a single girl. Eventually it may be possible to gaslight them into convincing each other that what's going on is for the best.
